Nestled on the elbow of Cape Cod, the meticulously landscaped Wequassett Resort & Golf Club is a 27-acre hideaway featuring 120 lavish guest rooms and suites, five restaurants and bars, two magnificent pools, two beaches, boating, water sports and four tennis courts. Guests of the resort have exclusive access to the eighteen hole, championship Cape Cod National Golf Club. The Wequassett Resort is rated Five Star by the Forbes Magazine Travel Guide.

A chic coastal décor pays homage to the resort’s Atlantic coast setting, with hues of beachy blue, white and taupe. The rooms at Wequassett Resort and Golf Club are not typical hotel rooms. All are set in “cottage buildings” named after a flower. Each comes complete with a private balcony. All accommodations offer a private deck or patio. The majority of rooms have a water view. Less expensive garden view rooms are available, some with outdoor fit pits, hot tubs and/or indoor gas fireplaces.

During the summer months the resort offers a variety of planned activities, including barbecues, “dive-in movies” at the pool, cooking classes, fitness programs and group water sports.

Nauti Jane’s is the resort’s water sports center, offering rental boats, sailing lessons and customized boat rides. Sunset tours and martini cruises are scheduled throughout the week.

The Children’s Center offers planned activities for kids ages 2 to 12.

Guests of the resort have exclusive access to the prestigious and exclusive Cape Cod National Golf Club, literally across the street. This private club has just 225 members. The par 72 track is 6,954 yards from the blue tees with a rating of 72.4 and 136 slope index. The course opened in 1998 and was named by Golf Digest as the fourth-best new course in the country. Cape Cod National is an astonishingly dramatic layout. Tree-lined fairways are framed by 18-inch-high fescue; steep elevation changes; quick, subtle greens; and deep, penal bunkers. There are no private homes to spoil the surroundings, giving the feel and experience of a stroll through a European noble’s private parkland.
