Ramona Ranch Winery
<\/span><\/h2>\n

Micole Moore and Teri Kerns moved to Ramona in 2004, with the intention of having a hobby farm, with chickens, a garden, and a horse or two. They quickly discovered that Ramona was also an excellent place to grow wine-grapes and make wine. In 2006 the Ramona Valley was designated an AVA (American Viticultural Area). Micole and Teri jumped into the moment, planting their first vineyard in 2006 and began making their own white, rose and red wines, including Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Tempranillo, Sangiovese, Merlot<\/em> and Tannat<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Today Ramona Ranch Vineyards and Winery is San Diego County’s only CSWA Certified California Sustainable vineyard and winery and the Ramona Valley’s #1 rated winery for four years in a row.<\/p>\n

Since 2017 we have taken our wine club members on three different European river cruises (Portugal, Germany and France), to Alaska, Tequila Mexico, Kentucky’s Bourbon Trail and New Orleans. This year we invite you to join us as we sail down the Blue Danube<\/strong> through the Balkan nations of southeastern Europe, visiting Hungary, Croatia, Serbia, Bulgaria<\/strong> and Romania<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

There are two fantastic pre and post cruise land tours:<\/p>\n

  • 4-nights in Hungary, exploring both Budapest<\/strong> and the Tokaji<\/strong> wine region<\/li>\n
  • 4-nights in Romania, visiting the beautiful Carpathian Mountains<\/strong> of Transylvania<\/strong>, finishing in Bucharest, the “Paris of Eastern Europe<\/em>“<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    On board we will conduct two tastings and a paired dinner with our own wines of Ramona Ranch Vineyards. More importantly, we’ll see a side of Europe not visited by most Americans, with tremendous historical sites and that offer great value.<\/p>\n
