I grew up in the vineyard working with my family clearing and planting our estate on Spring Mountain. At the age of 16 I began working as a cellar rat for other local wineries in Napa Valley.

After attending the University of California Davis School for Enology and Viticulture, I worked for several wineries in Napa and Sonoma. Now I am Winemaker for our own Schweiger Vineyards.

We craft fine Bordeaux varietals, most notably Cabernet Sauvignon, our signature red blend called Dedication, and a variety of other amazing wines from fruit all sourced from our property. My wife Paula joined the winery team full time in 2021 after 30 years of teaching and now does compliance, wine club and hospitality.

We’d love for you to join us for this “Bucket List” trip to Croatia. This is a once-in-a-lifetime program, combining a 7-night land tour from Zagreb to Split, followed by a 7-night deluxe yacht cruise to Dubrovnik aboard the 18-cabin vessel AVANGARD.
