Our inaugural Tom Eddy New Zealand wine tour sold out quickly earlier this year and everyone had a ball.So we\u2019ve decided \u201cNew Zealand 2027 \u2013 The Sequel\u201d is in order and you\u2019re invited!<\/p>\n\n

A lifelong Californian, Tom Eddy completed his enology degree at the University of California Davis in 1974, part of a group of talented 1970’s grads credited for the meteoric rise in the quality of California wines.<\/p>\n

Prior to starting the Tom Eddy label in 1991, Tom was the winemaker for some of the largest and smallest wineries in California. As a recognized industry expert, and noteworthy writer about all things “Wine”, over the past 50 years Tom has left a personal stamp on many winery operations in Napa, Sonoma, Washington, Oregon and around the world.<\/p>\n

Kerry Eddy is also a UC Davis grad and became the first female sommelier in Honolulu. Kerry later went to work for Wine Spectator<\/strong> magazine in New York as Director of Education and Information. After marrying Tom, she established herself in the Napa Valley community and continued working for Wine Spectator in San Francisco. Nowadays, Kerry can often be found leading tours and tastings, or sculpting in her art studio. Kerry’s artwork adorns the premises.<\/p>\n

True to his passion of artistic winemaking, Tom, along with Kerry, constructed a classically designed, efficient, yet small winery, along with a beautiful cave dug deep into the mountain. Today the Tom Eddy Winery sits on 22 gorgeous acres of Napa County, 1,000 feet above the valley floor. The Cabernet Sauvignons produced from their vineyards is rich, flavorful and elegant, with intense fruit flavor and a rich complex structure.<\/p>\n

You’re invited! Join Tom and Kerry on a vinicultural exploration of New Zealand, with all the “must do” sights of this beautiful island nation. We’ll also visit the country’s most renowned wineries including Felton Road, Cloudy Bay, Mission Estate<\/strong> and Craggy Range<\/strong>. Experience the highlights of “The Land of the Long White Cloud”<\/strong> from bottom to top, visiting Queenstown, Wellington, Blenheim, Napier, Rotorua, Auckland<\/strong> and Waiheke Island<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

On this special custom-designed tour, Tom & Kerry Eddy look forward to sharing with you their wines of both Napa Valley and New Zealand in two special tasting events and two paired dinners.
