Based in San Luis Obispo on California’s Central Coast, Tupetz Wine Connection puts premium, handcrafted German wine on the tables of America, and on this cruise, into your glass. Founded by Lisa Tupetz, the company connects American wine lovers with family-owned German wineries that embody tradition, craftsmanship, and innovation.
Lisa Tupetz was born in the U.S. to German parents and raised in Germany, where she studied Enology and Viticulture at the prestigious Geisenheim University. She worked at Weingut Margarethenhof in the Mosel Valley and spent time with winemakers across Germany’s 13 regions, building deep friendships and insights that shape her work today. In 2018, Lisa moved to California to continue her wine journey, eventually founding Tupetz Wine Connection to share the wines she grew up with.
At TWC, every wine comes from estates Lisa knows personally — the same bottles that Germans themselves drink, not modified for export. That’s the Vertrauen (trust) she has built with her winery partners, and it ensures an authentic taste of Germany in every glass. For Lisa, wine is not just a business, but a way to share stories, culture, and joy. She looks forward to bringing you into the world of German wine, one unforgettable glass at a time.
