Nestled in the rolling westside hills of Paso Robles, Brecon Estate is a Boutique Estate winery owned by Damian & Amanda Grindley. The estate produces exquisite and inviting wines. Each Brecon Estate wine is a small batch ferment, with an individual story to tell, sold exclusively onsite.

DAMIAN GRINDLEY

Master winemaker and proud Welshman, owner Damian Grindley has been in the industry for over twenty years, crafting highly awarded wines across the United States, Australia, and Europe. During his travels, Damian has explored and mapped some of the longest and deepest caves in the world. His love of limestone and exquisite wines brought him to the Central Coast for the first time seventeen years ago, and when the opportunity arose to purchase Brecon Estate, he knew that it was time to settle down and craft his own unfettered wines.

AMANDA GRINDLEY

Co-owner Amanda Grindley is Australian by birth and an adventurer in her own right. A keen caver and world traveler, Amanda is passionate about conservation and the great outdoors. She has been instrumental in the design and remodeling of Brecon Estate. Her keen eye for detail is prevalent throughout the winery’s buildings and decor. Amanda particularly enjoys hosting events on the beautiful, peaceful grounds at Brecon Estates.

Join Damian & Amanda on this “Bucket List” trip to Spain and Portugal. Embark from charming Porto and cruise the wild Douro River for 7 nights to the Spanish border. Then spend 2 nights in delightful Penafiel, staying in a 12th century monastery converted to a deluxe, five-star hotel & spa. We’ll also visit the Roman city of Segovia, and concluding the program with two nights in Madrid visiting the renowned Prado Museum.
