Bedell Cellars is an esteemed family-owned estate winery in the North Fork of Long Island AVA. The winery was founded in 1980 by Kip and Susan Bedell and was purchased by the current owners, The Lynne family, in 2000. We are dedicated to quality and creativity in everything we do. With a commitment to sustainable farming, we have hand-crafted our wines in small batches for over forty years using methods that define the regional style — artistically blending grapes grown in our unique maritime terroir. Winemaker Rich Olsen-Harbich is a veritable pioneer of winemaking on Long Island. Over the past 40 years this accomplished winemaker has crafted award-winning and highly regarded wines.

In that time, he has produced more 90-point wines from major global wine publications than any other Long Island winemaker. His 91 point, 1988 Bridgehampton Grand Vineyard Chardonnay was selected for the Wine Spectator Top 100 list. His 2009 Bedell Merlot was the exclusive red wine poured at President Barack Obama’s inaugural luncheon. Rich’s immense array of journalism and television appearances are too numerous to list here.

Join Rich and Nancy Olsen-Harbich as we sail down the Blue Danube through the Balkan nations of southeastern Europe, visiting Hungary, Croatia, Serbia, Bulgaria and Romania.

There are two fantastic pre- and post-cruise land tours:

• 4-nights in Hungary, exploring both Budapest and the Tokaji wine region
• 4-nights in Romania, visiting the beautiful Carpathian Mountains of Transylvania, finishing in Bucharest, the “Paris of Eastern Europe“
