In 2003, Robin Cooper left her career as a successful executive recruiter in New York to work a harvest at Behrens Family Winery in Napa Valley. A native New Yorker and enthusiastic wine-lover, Robin was looking for a new experience. She loved Napa Valley so much that she decided to stay! In 2006, when the winery owners wanted to welcome visitors, they asked Robin to create their hospitality program. Since then, she has served as Director of Hospitality and Customer Relations, representing the acclaimed wines of Les Behrens and Lisa Drinkward.

These small-batch Behrens Family Vineyard red wines are crafted on Spring Mountain in St. Helena, using grapes sourced from select, low-yield vineyards in Napa Valley and Sonoma County. The winery works closely with growers who are as passionate about producing top-quality fruit as they are about making wine.

In the Spring of 2027, you’re invited to join Robin for a wine and travel adventure along the Danube on one of Europe’s finest river ships! We look forward to sharing our Napa Valley wines with you at two special tastings and a paired dinner, where Behrens Family Winery wines will be served, alongside wines from Germany, the Czech Republic, and Austria’s Wachau Valley. This unique 7-night cruise travels from Vilshofen in Bavaria to Budapest, Hungary, stopping in incredible locations in Germany, Austria, and Slovakia along the way. There will also be an optional three-night pre-cruise tour of beautiful Prague, and a 4-night post-cruise tour of Hungary’s Tokaji wine region and Budapest.
