Rebecca’s agricultural roots run deep, having come from a lineage of hard-working farmers and cattlemen & women.  Denied her destiny as a cowgirl when her parents left the Moore family ranch in Colorado, fate ultimately came full circle decades later. 

After spending 20 years in the Napa Valley, her parents were inspired to get back to the land and build their own vineyard from scratch in Oregon, which they viewed as the new frontier for cultivating wine grapes.  In 2010 Rebecca worked her first full harvest and that was that. The call of the grape was strong! 

She made a leap of faith from practicing law to becoming a winegrower and vintner in her own right.  She has implemented organic and regenerative farming practices to increase the health of the land, restored 6 acres of Oregon live oak savannah broadened the estate grown wine offerings to include a Sparkling & still Rieslings, direct press Dry Rosé, differentiated Pinot noirs and soon to come, her first Méthod Champenoise!

Join Rebecca on a voyage of discovery down the mighty Rhine River from Basel to Amsterdam, visiting Switzerland, French Alsace, Germany and the Netherlands. This is one of the most popular river cruises in Europe.  Highlights include sailing beneath the 41 castles above the Rhine Gorge.  Ports of call include Basel, Strasbourg, Rudesheim, Cologne and Amsterdam.

On board the AmaSiena, she will conduct two tastings on board and one paired dinner with our MonksGate wines. This is a delightful experience for lovers of fine wines and cuisine, combined with stunning scenery and diverse cities across four European nations.
